Allianz Forum – Dialogue and solutions
On 17 October 2013, the German Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations (ifa) awarded the Theodor Wanner Prize to artist Yoko Ono. The award is primarily aimed at individuals who contribute or have contributed to the dialogue between cultures due to their scientific, social, socio-political, artistic or entrepreneurial commitment.
A forum for the 21st century
The Allianz Forum is an initiative of Allianz SE which aims to work with leading initiatives and institutions of civil society to establish a dialogue on the challenges of the 21st century.
The Allianz Forum building on Pariser Platz, Berlin, offers a venue in a prestigious location for various events like public discussions and exhibitions on socially relevant issues and topics.
Long-term commitment and cooperation
Event Consult has an ongoing contract with the Allianz Forum to handle its high-profile events, which we constantly rework and stage according to the current areas of focus and topical interest.
This means that a genuinely unique atmosphere can be created again and again in the building on Pariser Platz in Berlin, whether it is for the artist Yoko Ono, elder statesman Helmut Schmidt or simply the other invited guests.
As part of the Chinese Year of Culture 2012, the Bertelsmann, Robert Bosch and Körber Foundations hosted a discussion entitled »Magnet China!« It was launched on 31 January 2012 in the Allianz Forum building in Berlin with a conversation with former Federal Chancellor Helmut Schmidt.
Event Consult has its own office on site
Over the years, a longer-term collaboration has developed between Event Consult and the Allianz Forum on Pariser Platz. This is why Event Consult also has its own office on site at Pariser Platz – right next to the Brandenburg Gate!
The discussion between former Chancellor Helmut Schmidt and the Director of the Center for Global Studies at the University of Bonn, Professor Gu Xuewu, was facilitated by author and China expert Frank Sieren.
